Winter Wedding Flowers in Tetbury

An extra special look at my very own wedding. Our day was playful and romantic, a totally magical winter day that felt as if it could have been summer. When we visited Matara we were enamoured by the cloistered courtyard with Koi pond. We settled on our date for February, pre-warned our guests of our outdoor ceremony hopes, and quietly hoped for a dry day while stocking up on blankets. We couldn’t have been more spoiled with more perfect weather, unseasonably warm and the most glorious golden light cast around the grounds. The need for sunglasses overtook the need for blankets. A neutral blossoming arbour framed our vows while the rest of our celebrations featured playful pinks with burgundy and duck egg blue accents. Many of our most favourite flowers included tulips, hellebore, lily of the valley, fritillary, spirea, and hyacinth to name but a few.
